General & Disciplinary Rules


A. Rules of Conduct
General Rules: As the development of a healthy personality and character is a keynote of any educational effort, every endeavor is made to ensure that a student develops good habits and a spotless character. It is done through a system of rewards and punishments. While no opportunity is missed to encourage and reward a child for every good thing that he/she does, due cognizance is taken of any serious offense that he/she may commit: he/she is duly punished. Following offenses/acts of indiscipline make a student liable to expulsion/rustication from the school/college.

Identity Cards
College identity cards will be issued to every student at the time of admission. If lost or damaged will be issued on payment of Rs. 200/ as a fine every student must keep his identity card with him during college timings; otherwise, he will be fined Rs.50/ day.

Evaluation Tests
Monthly or other periodical tests will be held regularly for evaluating the preparation of a student. The student whose progress in the class tests is not satisfactory, will not be allowed to take the board examination. A student, who absents himself from any test/exam shall be fined Rs. 200/ or more per paper.

B. Discipline / Conduct

(a) Disobedience or disrespect of his/her senior or members of the staff. A student is expected to stand up and wish the teacher when he/she approaches him/her.

(b) Using or trying to use unfair means in the examination. The entire examination of such a student may be cancelled and will be liable to fine and other punishments.

(c) Use of abusive language, rowdyism, indecent Behaviour and unbecoming conduct which is not expected of a student.(shameful acts)

(d) Acts of immorality that may spoil the moral values

(e) Theft or willful damage to the school/college property, or other belongings.

(f) Disinterestedness in studies, as seen from the examination/class tests results or reported by members of the staff, concerned.

(g) Habitual absentees will be expelled from the school.

(h) Breaking of school/college bounds and leaving the school/college/hostel premises without permission.

(i) Use or possession of cigarettes, snuff, or any other narcotics.

(j) Possession of any firearm, sharp-edged weapon, mobile, or any such electronic items. Mobiles will be confiscated and broken by the staff for which college authority will have no responsibility or any claim.

(k) Parents’ / guardians’ non-cooperation with school staff/principal or their indecent/ unbecoming behavior using abusive/ harsh language etc.

(l) Communicating or associating with anti-social elements outside the school/ college or students expelled/rusticated from the college on any of the above grounds.

(m) Physical violence or attempt thereof resulting in injury or may case injury.

(n) Any political or collective / group activity which is felt to be against the discipline of the institution.

(o) Pasting of posters and writing on the school/college and the hostel premises are prohibited. Those are considered as act of indiscipline and offenders involved are liable to punishment.

p) All types of demonstrations, processions, and shouting in the school/college and the hostel premises are prohibited and students expulsion from the college.

q) Any other act of indiscipline that the Principal feels cannot be condoned.

r) The Principal has the authority to expel a student from the school/college without assigning any reason. The Principal decision in all academic/disciplinary matters will be final and binding on the students and their parents (as well as the Staff). It will not be challengeable in any court of law.
